worship song lyrics

  • Who else would rocks cry out to worship
Whose glory taught the stars to shine
Perhaps creation longs to have the words to sing
    But this joy is mine

    Chorus
    With a thousand hallelujahs
    We magnify Your name
    You alone deserve the glory
    The honor and the praise
    Lord Jesus
    This song is forever Yours
    A thousand hallelujahs
    And a thousand more

Who else would die for our redemption
    Whose resurrection means I'll rise
There isn't time enough to sing of all You've done
But I have eternity to try

    Praise to the Lord
    To the Lamb
    To the King of Heaven
    Praise for He rose
    Now He reigns
    We will sing forever

  • Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best thought, by day or by night
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light

Be Thou my wisdom, and Thou my true word
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord
Thou my great Father, and I Thy true son
Thou in me dwelling and I with Thee one

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise
Thou mine inheritance, now and always
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart
High King of heaven, my treasure Thou art

High King of heaven, my victory won
    May I reach heaven's joys, O bright heaven's sun
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall
Still be my vision, O ruler of all

  • This, this is love
You sent Your Son into the world to rescue us
While we were still Your enemies
You left Your throne above to hang upon a tree

    This is love
    This is love

    Once enslaved to fear
Now we’re children of the promise, we are heirs
    Fully loved and fully known
And there’s no power that can take us from Your arms

And we will sing for all our days
Of the beauty of Your grace

    Chorus
How great is the love You’ve lavished on us
That we should be called the children of God

We have peace as we await
The day that You return redeeming every pain
And yes, we hope for things unseeen
That all our future joy will outweigh suffering

Who are we that You notice us
We love because You first loved us

  • In Christ alone, my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
    This Cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My Comforter, my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand

In Christ alone, who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save
'Til on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live

There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious Day
Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ

No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life's first cry to final breath
    Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I'll stand

  • Chorus
Bless the Lord oh my soul
    Oh my soul
    Worship His Holy name
    Sing like never before
    Oh my soul
    I'll worship Your Holy name

    The sun comes up
    It's a new day dawning
It's time to sing Your song again
    Whatever may pass
    And whatever lies before me
    Let me be singing
    When the evening comes

    You're rich in love
    And You're slow to anger
    Your name is great
    And Your heart is kind
    For all Your goodness
    I will keep on singing
    Ten thousand reasons
    For my heart to find

    And on that day
    When my strength is failing
    The end draws near
    And my time has come
    Still my soul will
    Sing Your praise unending
    Ten thousand years
    And then forevermore

COMMUNION LITURGY

(Pastor) The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.”

In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

(Pastor) Let’s eat and drink and remember Jesus together.

(All) Christ has died.
Christ is risen.
Christ will come again.

(Pastor) We are brothers and sisters through His broken body and shed blood.

(All) We have died together,
we will rise together,
we will live together.

(Pastor) And now, let’s offer the prayer that Jesus taught us to pray together:

(All) Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name; Your kingdom come; Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
